Festive Mayhem is precisely what it implies. These are ten engaging stories around women who experience some very pleasant and non -pleasant surprises that shake up their lives.
I enjoyed reading all of them but three of four of them I loved. The Christmas Tip was one of them. A hard-working woman ends up with the tip of her life and doesn’t know whether to believe that it was really meant or her.
Or the Stranger in the House, which tells of a woman who must start her life over again after catching her husband with her friend and neighbor. I liked that this story didn’t lament over what the main character had lost but threw her into a situation where she would come out on top.
Those Holiday Blues was another one that I liked immensely.
All the stories are excellently written. They draw you in, and you forget the time spent reading.
