To evaluate Memories of Murder, the second book in the trilogy by Yolanda Renèe was difficult. To say the intrigue, which began in Murder, Madness & Love continues, was an understatement. To mention Sarah is stalked by an evil presence, a man who believes in the myth of Lilith and wishes to crown her as his Lilith is also not quite correct. Evil is evident; it runs its course not only in the character portrayed as Luke Williams, who is Lucifer personified but also in the character of sophisticated people who cannot handle rejection.

Sarah and Steven, so in love, yet their relationship ends. Apart from each other, Steven’s investigation continues, and Sarah’s sixth sense, which she thought, at first, were nightmares, keeps them emotionally bonded to each other.

Memories of Murder is not a book for the timid person with a weak heart. Several times, I blinked my eyes at the violence but kept reading. However, I do not think I will be taking any walks alone in my forest at home for some time.

Finally, let me say a word about the almost invincible Luke Williams with his many names. His personification of evil drives the story, and Renèe paints him very well. At the end of the book, though, I asked myself if Scott Chase or Alice were any different from Williams with his evil intentions.

If you enjoy a good Thriller mixed with a tad bit of romance, then you will love Memories of Murder, by Yolanda Renèe.

For me, personally, I look forward to reading Murder & Obsession, the third book in the trilogy.
