MMT 2014 MS Awareness Week series part three: spotlight on Eric Roberson

March 7, 2014

Good morning everyone,
Here is an interview on MS from an musical artist who is very popular in the United States. The interview is interesting, and because I was so impressed, and I am a lover of music, I went to his website to listen to his music. I have to say Mr. Roberson has gained a new fan.

He’s a soul singing and writing virtuoso, who is celebrating 20 years in the music industry with two 2014 album releases, the first being last month’s highly anticipated B-sides, Features and Heartaches. Those blessed to have seen him in live performance know that he’s master of the impromptu verse, taking random words from audience members and creating instant melodies that materialize radio ready. Many also have come to know him as 1/4 of the Stellar award-winning gospel ensemble United Tenors, along with Fred Hammond, Dave Hollister and Brian Courtney Wilson. But what some may not know about Eric Roberson, outside of him being the consummate artist, devoted family man and all-around nice guy, is that he also is an MS Awareness advocate who’s passionate about spreading information and “opening up” the conversation about the disease.  Eric kindly agreed to discuss his experiences dealing with a loved one’s MS diagnosis…

    • Girlfriend,

Thank you. I needed to hear that today. It is so nice knowing that you are somewhere out there in good old internet land.
Take care and keep moving forward. You are a light to me too.

  2. What an interesting interview. I had no idea about this wife’s health. I applaud him for standing by her. I wish more people were like that. Thanks!

    • Hi My Dear Friend,
Yes, his love and admiration for his wife is something to applaud. This man is setting a very nice example of what families can be like. There is a lot of potential out there. We only need people who believe in that potential and are willing to live by it as he is.
Thank you for visiting my blog.

  3. Pat, you truly set examples for all young ladies and men to follow. Your writings inspires me to read and study your emails, because it opens my mind in positive thinking. I pray you and I could sit down one day and process our backgrounds. I thank God several times daily how He has blessed us. Your father has always encouraged me about the seriousness of church. Finally Pat, keep writing those eye opening positive words in helping me with my daily prayers. Thanks!
